Reno 1868 FC sounds off on streak, moving up USL standings

Reno 1868 FC fans celebrate at Greater Nevada Field. Reno is 5-0-1 in their last six matches

Following back-to-back home wins last week over Rio Grande Valley and rival Sacramento, Reno 1868 FC's surge in the USL standings continue.

In dead last two months ago, Reno has gained 16 points over their last six matches to vault all the way up to 4th out of the 16 teams in the league's Western Conference.

Reno trails Colorado Springs by just one point, even though the Switchbacks have played in three more matches. Real Monarchs SLC (33) and San Antonio (31) remain firmly ahead as the top two teams in the table.

Despite cold, wet and windy conditions, the team returned to the practice pitch on Monday at Moana Stadium. News 4 had a chance to catch up with the guys and talk to them about their continued surge as a team to be reckoned with in their first season.
