Reno 1868 FC got their first win of the season on Saturday when they defeated the Portland Timbers 2 2-1.

The game winning goal came from Henderson native Danny Musovski in the 89th minute. Musovski scored both Reno 1868 FC goals in the game, with his first goal coming in the 73rd minute.

His teammate from college and now professionally, Sparks' Kevin Partida, also had an excellent game after being subbed in at the half. He had four tackles, two interceptions, and five possessions won in 45 minutes of play.

Brenna Greene breaks down the win and compares this year's start to last year's start, and also delves deeper into the two Nevadans who helped lead the way Saturday.

Reno 1868 FC's next game is at home on Saturday against OKC Energy FC at 7 PM. You can watch the game on our sister station My 21TV.
