Nevada football rallies past rival UNLV 23-16

Kelton Moore punched in a 2-yard touchdown with 7 minutes, 34 second left in the fourth quarter, lifting the Nevada football team to a 23-16 win over rival UNLV on Saturday at Mackay Stadium.

The Wolf Pack trailed the Rebels 16-9 in the third quarter before scoring 14 unanswered points the rest of the way.

Moore finished with a game-high 109 rushing yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.

Nevada quarterback Ty Gangi threw for 266 yards and a touchdown on 24 of 33 passing. His primary target was Wyatt Demps, who hauled in four catches for 64 yards and a TD.

With the victory, the Fremont Cannon will remain blue.

Nevada ends the season with a 3-9 overall record in Jay Norvell's first year at the helm.
