The Sacramento Kings will be helping their NBA G League affiliate Reno Bighorns celebrate the start of the 2017-18 season in the Biggest Little City.

The two teams announced Tuesday the Sacramento Kings Dancers, mascot Slamson and more will be on hand for the home opener at the Reno Events Center on Friday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m.

The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a special Kings t-shirt, with more giveaways and special entertainment planned throughout the game.

The Kings and Bighorns will also be hosting a special Junior Kings Clinic at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. Former Kings player Olden Polynice will be helping with the clinic, which will teach the fundamentals of basketball and healthy habits.

The Sacramento Kings purchased a controlling interest in the Bighorns last year and re-branded the team's colors and logos to connect to the parent club back in April.

The Bighorns will start the regular season on Sunday, Nov. 5, at Oklahoma City before returning to Reno to face the Austin Spurs on Nov. 10.
