Nevada Wolf Pack able to grind out victory over Wyoming
RENO, Nev. —
All five starters scored in double figures en route to a Nevada men's basketball 92-83 victory of Wyoming on Wednesday. It was the second time this season all five starters posted 10 or more points.
Cody Martin (22 pts, 12 rbs) and Jordan Caroline (18 pts, 16 rbs) paced the Pack, with each posting doubles-doubles in the victory. Caroline's 16 rebounds are a career-high. The Wolf Pack are 20-1 when Caroline achieves a double-double.
Caleb Martin had 19 points, Kendall Stephens had 16 points, and Lindsey Drew had 13 points to round out the starting five. This is the first time in 89 games that Drew has scored in double figures in three consecutive contests.
Josh Hall once again did not play for the Pack due to illness. This is the second consecutive game he has missed.
The win also extended Nevada's home win streak to 13 home games. Coach Musselman also achieved a 3-0 record in Mountain West play for the first time with the victory. Nevada is now 14-3 on the season.
The Wolf Pack plays at Air Force (6-8, 0-2 MW) on Saturday at 11 a.m. PT. The game will air on AT&T Sports Net.
