Nevada MBB falls in lackluster performance against San Diego State

Nevada men's basketball falls 90-73 to SDSU.

The Nevada men's basketball team only led for the first 1:08 of their game against San Diego State in the Mountain West Semis, and trailed by 30 points in by halftime in their loss to SDSU on Thursday. The squad ended up losing 90-73.

Kendall Stephens also turned his ankle in the second half of the game and never returned.

Jordan Caroline led the pack with 25 points and 10 rebounds. He also fouled out of the contest. Caleb Martin had 13 points and Hallice Cooke had 10. All five of San Diego State's starters finished in double figures.

Nevada now awaits their NCAA Tournament fate. They are still projected to make the tournament, regardless of their loss on Friday.
