Thousands without power in Incline Village, Carson City
More than 13,000 customers are without power early Thursday morning due to outages in Washoe County and Carson City, according to NV Energy.
The utility reported on its outage site that the outage affecting Incline Village was reported just before 11:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Power is expected to be restored to more than 8,800 customers by 2:45 a.m.
In Carson City, outages affecting more than 4,100 customers were reported at about 10 p.m. Wednesday. Power is expected to be restored by 2:45 a.m. as well.
Other outages affecting smaller numbers of customers around Washoe County have been reported, including in the North Valleys, Sparks and south Reno.
NV Energy's website states crews are staged in high wind areas due to wind and rain in Northern Nevada.
