Student assaulted on campus parking lot at the University of Nevada, Reno
University of Nevada, Reno Police are looking for a suspect who they say assaulted a female student on Friday, November 30 at around 10 p.m.
Police say the assault occurred when the victim was returning to her vehicle, which was parked in the small metered parking lot to the rear of the IGT Knowledge Center.
The suspect accosted the student as she entered her car, however, she was able to break free and leave, according to police.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 6 feet tall, in his late 20s to early 30s, and average build. The victim says the suspect was wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, smelled strongly of cigarettes and spoke in a raspy voice. The suspect may have injured his right hand in the incident.
