Sparks Police Department supports 6-year-old's lemonade stand

A six-year-old boy from Sparks had a big surprise this weekend when the Sparks Police Department showed up to support his lemonade stand.

"My son had his first lemonade stand today and the entire Sparks Police Department came by to support him! For a boy who’s dream it is to one day become a police officer, this was the best day of his life. We are so grateful!," said his mother Cristy nelson.

Levi Nelson, along with his little sister Lila Nelson, were in charge of the lemonade stand.

"He wanted to have a lemonade stand today because he likes selling stuff and because Chris, his step-father, built him a stand for Christmas," said his mother.

Nelson says he wants to be a police officer when he grows up because he wants to “catch bad guys, it looks cool and he likes helping people”.
