New tech company to bring 240 new jobs to Reno

Figure Technologies a blockchain and artificial intelligence company is coming to the biggest little city.

The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada along with governor Brian Sandoval made the announcement Monday, December 17.

According to the company they plan on adding 240 new jobs within the next several years and is expected to pay employees $40 hour.

Employees will also have access to benefits such as health care, Flexible Spending Accounts and a 401(k) program.

There is already a current office open in Reno with 17 employees.

"As a state, we're one of the leaders in attracting and welcoming blockchain technology.
