STORM TIMELINE (Latest #WeatherAuthority Forecast: mynews4.com/weather)

A band of precipitation is forecast to move through the region (mainly north of highway 50) late Sunday night into Monday. Snow levels will be near the valley floors with the lowest valleys potentially seeing a rain/snow mix. The current timing of the front could create some Monday afternoon commute issues in the northern Sierra and northeastern California, but it looks like the best chance for precipitation in the Reno/Carson area would be late morning into early afternoon.
