Children's Cabinet in Reno announces new director of operations
Non-profit organization Children's Cabinet in Reno announced the appointment of a new director of operations on Monday.
Kim Young will now help lead the 33-year-old organization that helps kids in Northern Nevada.
Young has more than 25 years of experience in non-profit and program management and grant writing, according to the organization.
"We are grateful that The Children’s Cabinet new director of operations comes from within," executive director Mike Pomi said in a statement. "We’ve appreciated her work with The Cabinet as both a program director and grant writer, and admire her professionalism and deep passion for our community."
Young will take over the position from Kathleen Sandoval, who "left to pursue another opportunity," according to a spokeswoman for the Children's Cabinet.
