RENO, Nev. — Over 15 local businesses united to present a "Celebration on the Corridor" on Saturday, December 8.
The inaugural event marks a milestone for the Reno Brewery District with business who came together for an evening of live music, pop-up art galleries, brewery and winery tours.
Celebration on the Corridor featured the Reno Brewery District, a neighborhood populated by the city's oldest buildings and a community of craft alcohol producers, bars, taprooms, restaurants and other local businesses in varied industries.
Muralist Erik Burke painted a mural that encompasses a greeting to the recently established district. The mural is expected to be completed in its entirety Spring 2019.
The recently completed road construction project in the area provides residents with more convenient and comfortable ways to maneuver through the area including additional bike lanes, street lights, parking spaces and the newly added RTC Lincoln Line.
