Bonanza Casino hosts pre-kickoff party to benefit Prostate Cancer Foundation

Bonanza Casino in Reno celebrated their 10th annual pre-kick off party on Sunday, August 5.

The free event benefited the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

The casino gave each participant a limited-edition car dash plaque featuring a 1967 Ford Mustang, as well as a free tire gauge.

Each car entry will also received $5 in Free Slot Play in the casino.

The top 10 cars received Irish Crystal awards and one People’s Choice award, for a total of 11 awards.

Route 66 performed live music on the outdoor stage and DJ Cillo provided music on the other side of the parking lot.

Food Trucks, featuring Aloha Shack, Taco Time, and Sweet Machine Ice Cream, served and The River broadcasted a live remote. All participants enjoyed a one-day-only food, drink, and gaming specials.

Now in its 45th year, the Bonanza Casino, a family owned and operated business, first opened its doors in 1973. The casino has two restaurants, the Cactus Creek Prime Steakhouse, eight-time Best of Nevada Award winner by Nevada Magazine, and the Branding Iron Café and Buffet, which is open for dining 24/7.
