Washoe County is reporting more than 52,000 people have voted as of 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Lyon County Manager Jeff Page tells News 4-Fox 11 that there is a line to vote at Dayton High School and voters should be patient.
According to some voters, it took up to an hour to vote at the high school early Tuesday morning.
The Lyon County Registrar of Voters confirms there were issues with the voting machines at the Dayton High School polling place, but the issues have since been resolved.
Washoe County Registrar of Voters Deanna Spikula tells News 4-Fox 11 that voters are experiencing some delays at certain polls, but voters should remain patient and in line.
Spikula said there have not been any "major issues" with the voting machines as of 8:30 a.m.
Voting is underway across Nevada as polling locations open for Tuesday's midterm election during which voters will decide pivotal races for a U.S. Senate seat and governor.
The election also will decide more than 50 state legislative races, six ballot questions, whether Democrats keep two Las Vegas-area congressional seats and whether Republicans continue to hold such statewide offices as lieutenant governor, secretary of state, treasurer, controller and attorney general.

The last day to vote early in the Silver State was Friday, November 2.
The following numbers were collected from the Office of the Nevada Secretary of State and include in-person early voting, absent, and mailing precincts.

TOTAL: 121,552 people early and absentee voted
Early voting numbers for the state of Nevada:
TOTAL: 628,342 people early and absentee voted
Washoe County: 45.18% of all active voters have voted so far
Statewide: 40.25% of all active voters have voted so far
