(AP) Lawyers for Amtrak, the Union Pacific Railroad and a Nevada trucking firm have started making their case in what's expected to be a six-week trial to determine who was to blame when a semi-truck slammed into a passenger train in a fiery crash that killed six people in 2011.The train companies' lawyer told the jury in opening remarks in federal court in Reno Tuesday the evidence will show John Davis Trucking of Battle Mountain was negligent and its driver responsible for the collision at a rural crossing about 70 miles east of Reno. The trucking firm's lawyers argue Amtrak and Union Pacific failed to provide a proper signal warning. They suggest someone tampered with a video clip from a locomotive-mounted camera that Amtrak claims proves the truck driver was at fault.
