Missing California man may be in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. -- A missing person's case out of California may have found renewed hope.

A Cupertino, California man, who went missing in 2010, may have recently been spotted in the South Lake Tahoe area. Jackson Miller left his home on May 15, 2010. Soon after, his car was found in the parking lot of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

Surveillance footage shows Miller leaving his car and all his belongings, and walking out of the parking area. However, the Golden Gate Bridge Authority confirmed that no one jumped from the bridge on the night Miller's car was parked there.

This week, a South Lake Tahoe resident reported having seen Jackson Miller on a number of different occasions, as recently as mid-July. Although the caller seemed confident, the report currently remains unconfirmed.

If you have seen Jackson Miller, you are asked to call South Lake Tahoe Police at 530-542-6100.
