RENO - The University of Nevada women’s basketball team (2-1 MW) will hit the road to face its third consecutive Big West opponent Thursday night at Cal Poly (1-3 Big West). Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Mott Athletics Center. The Wolf Pack is 1-1 against Big West opponents this season, defeating Long Beach State 91-61 on Nov. 15, before falling to UC Irvine 86-72 on Nov. 17.

Nevada leads the overall series with Cal Poly 7-3. The Mustangs defeated the Wolf Pack 72-63 last season in Reno. Nevada senior guard Danika Sharp had 21 points in the loss. Molly Schlemer leads Cal Poly with 17.5 ppg., and 12.8 rpg. The Mustangs opened the 2012-13 season with three losses, before defeating New Mexico State 72-64 at home on Monday.Nevada women’s basketball at Cal Poly
