CANTON, OH - The Canton Charge have traded forward Tyrell Biggs to the Reno Bighorns for a 2014 second-round draft pick. The move is pending Biggs passing a physical in Reno.

Biggs averaged 11.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in three games this season in Canton’s crowded frontcourt, which also includes Arinze Onuaku, Kevin Jones, Shane Edwards and Michael Lee. The 6-foot-8 Biggs had meniscus surgery in September and missed the season opener because of some discomfort in that knee.

Biggs, a University of Pittsburgh product and New York native, was the Charge’s first-ever draft pick in 2011 and went on to be a D-League All-Star that season. He played overseas last year. The 27-year-old Biggs is an excellent jump shooter who has made 53.8 percent of his field goal attempts this season.Canton trades Biggs to Bighorns
