Nevada women's basketball's season ends in WBI Semifinals
CONWAY, Ark. —
The Nevada women's basketball team's season ended at the hands of the Central Arkansas Sugar Bears 65-56 on Saturday in the WBI Semifinals.
The Pack was able to get the score within four with 1:05 left in play, but could never get closer.
Senior Teige Zeller led the team with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Zeller moved into fifth on the program's all-time rebounding list in the game. T Moe added ten points and three steals in the contest. She finished seventh on the program's all-time scoring list. The Pack only shot a season-low four three's in the contest.
The Wolf Pack ended the season with a 19-17 record, which is the first time a Nevada women's basketball team has finished the season with a winning record in four years. March 24th is the latest the Pack has ever played in the season.
