Nevada wins first regular-season Mountain West Championship

Nevada started out their game against Colorado State shooting 4 of 14, but eventually came back to win 85-72.

The win clinched Nevada basketball's first Mountain West regular-season championship, and the school's first regular-season championship since 2011-2012.

The Pack got huge nights from Cameron Oliver (29 pts, 17 rbs), Jordan Caroline (18 pts, 15 rbs), and Marcus Marshall (18 pts, 10 asts).

Oliver's 29 points were a career-high and his 17 rebounds were both an individual and team season-high.

Nevada held Colorado State to 38.7% shooting, out-rebounded Colorado State 44-36, and totaled six more assists.

Nevada now heads to the Mountain West Tournament as the conference's number one seed. They will play the winner of Utah State-San Jose State on Thursday, March 9th at noon. The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
