Sheriff's detectives search for answers after man is found dead in Sun Valley on Sept. 29

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information about a homicide in Sun Valley in late September to come forward.

We believe there are people out there with information that can help,” Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detective Sergeant Ralph Caldwell said. “The information may seem insignificant to them, but could be very important to the investigation. If you know anything about this incident, we urge you, for the sake of the victim’s loved ones, to contact detectives or Secret Witness.

Deputies responded to the area of Lupin and Honey Bear drives on the afternoon of Friday, Sept. 29 on the report of a deceased male inside a residence, according to spokesman Bob Harmon.

Harmon says police found 34-year-old Michael Partridge of Sun Valley dead as a result of a gunshot wound.

Secret Witness is currently offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect or suspects in this investigation.
