Reno police are asking for help identifying a suspect who broke into a south Reno home and stole items in the early morning hours of May 10.

Police say the suspect tiptoed through the house while the residents were asleep and stole items inside the house and a mountain bike from the garage.

The homeowners have surveillance cameras and released video of the suspect walking through their house.

"It is not common for hot prowl burglaries to occur in Reno and this suspect needs to be apprehended immediately," said Reno Police Department Sgt. John Silver.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Reno Police Department's non emergency line at 775-334-2677, the Burglary Division, at 775-334-2144, secret witness at 322-4900, or text the tip to 847411(TIP).
