Reno joins hundreds of cities nationwide to hold Tax Day rally
RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
Reno joined hundreds of cities around the nation with rallies on Tax Day on Saturday to call on President Trump to release his tax returns and to convince Nevada lawmakers to not implement a budget and tax code that gives breaks to millionaires and hurts everyday Americans.
The rally was held at Wingfield Park in downtown Reno on Saturday, April 15.
Demonstrators demand that Senator Dean Heller, President Trump, and the GOP abandon their plans to gut social programs to fund a tax cut for millionaires and billionaires.
Rally organizers presented a giant check from Senator Dean Heller and the GOP to the millionaires and billionaires who will benefit from their tax plan.
