Chick-fil-A's grand opening in the Biggest Little City is all set for Thursday, May 25.

A spokeswoman for the restaurant chain said the location at 6365 S. McCarran Boulevard will include a chance for 100 people to win a year's supply of free meals.

Twenty-four hours before the grand opening at, guests are invited to try to be among the first 100 people in line. Each of the first 100 will receive a digital offer card loaded with 52 meals.

If more than 100 people are in line Wednesday, 24 hours before the 6 a.m. opening, a drawing will randomly select the first 100 people. If there's fewer than 100 people by the 24-hour mark, Chick-fil-A will continue to register people until 100 people and 10 alternates are signed up.

Participants must have valid ID and live within a pre-approved zip code. Visit for a complete list of rules about the contest and how to prove residency.

Those who make the first line will also partner with Feeding Children Everywhere to package 10,000 meals for the hungry.

All customers are also asked to bring a children's book to donate on opening day.

A second Chick-fil-A is also planned to open in the Truckee Meadows later this year at the Outlets in Sparks.
